Attention Club Assignors - Referee Reports

Any cards issued for Rec matches must be completed and sent to Kevin Baldwin at goldeneagle1990@hotmail.com. Ejections must be reported within 24 hours and requires a phone call also to Kevin (360) 521-9480.

Misconduct Report - Save the file to your desktop/hard drive, fill the form out - save with a file name associated with your report (players last name, etc.) and then email the report to Kevin Baldwin at goldeneagle1990@hotmail.com

2010 Referee Re-Certification

Every year in order to recertify, a referee needs to get 5 hours of continuing education and pass the test.

It is getting those pesky 5 hours that is the problem. We put on 5 recert clinics in the Vancouver area every fall. We are strongly encouraged by the state to have all of the recerts done by then end of the calendar year. So, after Dec 31, if you have not attended one of the Recert clinics you will have to travel to get your hours. Sometimes Oregon offers training hours but it is hard ton predict when they will be offered.

To get your hours now for your 2010 badge, you can get those in a number of ways:

Attend 5 of your local association's monthly meetings and arrange for the testing privately through Jill Derry or James Smith.

2010 Referee Information

TO BECOME A NEW REFEREE

Please visit the Columbia Soccer Referee Association web site for more information on becoming a referee.

USSF offers 2 grades for new referees: 8 and 9. Grade 9 is geared to 11 and 12 year olds and mandates only a 50 question test. Grade 9 referees are limited in the age range they can referee. This is an excellent place to start for the young referee.

No deposit is required, but those pre-registered will be given priority if space is limited.

Referee Assignor Certification Class Information

There are going to be five (5) entry level assignor clinics offered in 2010.
It is very important to get all youth, recreational and adult assignors
registered. In order to become registered you will need to take the entry level
assignor clinic. Below is the schedule of the clinics.

2/6/10 - #3202 - Everett/
2/13/10 - #3203 - Lacey/
3/13/10 - #3204 - Tukwilla/
3/13/10 - #3205 - Ritzville/
4/17/10 - #3206 - Vancouver

To sign up for the clinic go to www.wasrc.org on the left side bar go to
instructor/clinics to sign up for the clinic. If the individual signing up does
not have a log in for WASRC, please have them contact me at Dorothy.epps@verizon.net
or 360-856-6860 (home) 360-840-1931(cell).

The cost of the clinic is $60. This fee includes the $10 registration fee.
Registered assignors - please pass this information on to any assignors that
are not registered or anyone that wants to become an assignor.
